The Volkswagen Eurovan has sleeping facility for four passengers and an additional seat may be provided for a fifth person upon specific request. The Volkswagen Eurovan has two full-sized adult double beds, a kitchenette with a 2-burner gas stove and a sink fitted with water pump and a tank to hold 10.5 gallon water – not to speak of a 3-way refrigerator.

A pop-up roof with a skylight, an easy-sliding side door, large windows to facilitate sightseeing, plenty of cabinet space, rotating front seats, a dining table, electric and water hook-ups, propane tank, privacy curtains, and a fire extinguisher – are the other features of the Volkswagen Eurovan.

The Volkswagen Eurovan offers gas mileage ranging from 18-24 miles per gallon. This is undeniably a terrific saving particularly for long distance trips. Eurovans are also available with air conditioning, heat, AM/FM stereo with CD player and MP3 player hookups. 

The rental charges quoted generally include 125 driving miles per day.  Additional miles traveled are billable extra at per mile rate.  The option unlimited miles per day is also available for an additional fixed sum.

People hiring the Eurovan must be careful not to entertain the hidden charges like   vehicle provisioning charges, vehicle preparation fees, sanitation fees and charges for additional drivers – which some rental companies may try to unscrupulously demand.

Some Eurovan rental companies may be quite traveler-friendly and offer the following options -  Lawn Chairs, Folding Table, Collapsible Drinking Water Jug, Table Cloth and Picnic Blanket, Road Atlas & Eurovan Manual, First Aid Kit, camp Soap & Disposable Towels, Toilet Paper, Fire Starter Sticks, Lighter, Hatchet, Pocket Knife -  to be included at no additional charge.

Some of the standard terms and conditions for hiring a Eurovan on rental are:
A deposit will be collected at the time of booking. If a deposit is not received within two weeks, the reservation will automatically stand canceled. The rental deposit is adjustable when final payment is made.

Payment of all rental charges, including estimated mileage charges are due upon vehicle pick-up. An additional, fully refundable, appropriate deposit will also be collected upon pick-up to cover the insurance costs of any likely accident.  Payment must be made in US dollars by cash, Cashier’s Check, Travelers Check, and few approved credit cards.

Cancellations has to be communicated in writing within less than 30 days of departure date and a nominal cancellation fee will be levied. All cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the scheduled date of departure, will result in the forfeiture of the entire initial reservation deposit.

All drivers must possess a valid driver license and an international drivers license may be required for foreign tourists.

If you are involved in a road accident, you must obtain the driver’s license number and insurance information from all other persons involved and arrange for a police report if there is an injury or if damages exceed the prescribed amount. The security deposit covers the hirer for a single accident.

The fuel tank will be full on pickup and has to be returned full.  You should only re-fill with “MID” grade (89 octane) fuel.
