General idea about 2010 Honda Elements
The 2010 Element, many agree, is imaginatively designed and the Element has an interior that is as versatile as one can wish it to be. The seating is configurable allowing you to flip, fold or take the rear seats out for up to a whopping 64 different options.
There is a place to store everything and within easy access. With its black, scratch-resistant flooring and water-proof seat fabric, the Element is capable of rough use and yet easy to clean up.

Element has adequate power, though it is slow to gain momentum from a complete halt. The automatic transmission is smooth, helping to extract the most from the engine.
Riding comfort is subjective and depends on where you sit. Occupants of rear seats have to nestle between the wheels and thus have to inevitably endure sharp jerks over road bumps. Front-seaters are relatively better placed.
The Honda Element 2010 has marked improvements and up gradation over the 2009 model and it includes a wholly appealing exterior appearance and a refreshed interior design. Three unique Element models are available that range from the rugged and simple Element LX, to the more refined Element EX, to the sporty Element SC. The Dog Friendly equipment group is designed exclusively for the Element EX trim level. All models are available with front-wheel drive and LX and EX also offer all-wheel drive.
The much expected "Dog Friendly" attachment provides ideal accommodation for dogs – satisfying safety, comfort and convenience factors. The Dog-Friendly package is exclusive to the EX and includes equipment that makes for a simple transportation of dogs, such as a cargo-area pet bed, a cargo-area ramp for pet entry and exit, and all-weather floormats.
The manufacturers claim that the Honda Element has for long been recognized as a vehicle for adventurous motorists with active lifestyles who are more into sports and other outdoor activities. The new Dog Friendly Element makes it unique with specially designed features for dogs as well as their owners. The car kennel is thoughtfully designed to prevent the dog from interfering with the driver by keeping the pet properly restrained and out of reach of the driver. The pet comfort is enhanced with the provision of a soft floor surface for the dog's legs and paws along with a dedicated fan and a spill resistant water source.
The Element offers a commodious cargo area with wide-opening side cargo doors, and of thoughtfully planned dimensions for tall items. Needless to state, the vehicle is fitted with all standard equipment like air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and keyless entry.
The other attractive features of Element LX include standard with a 4-speaker AM/FM audio system with a CD player. The Element EX and SC feature a 270-watt high-output audio system, an AM/FM tuner, CD player with MP3/WMA capability, auxiliary audio input for MP3 players, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, seven speakers including a 6.5-inch subwoofer.
Several storage bins and beverage holders are available for cell phones, CDs and drinks - a large three-bin tray above the glove box, a modular 3-compartment overhead storage bin in EX and SC, six hooks for strapping down bikes or other bulky gear and storage pockets on all the four doors.
To those who may not be aware, the Element 2010 is assembled in Ohio at the Honda of America Mfg., Inc., East Liberty Auto Plant using domestic and globally sourced parts.
