General Idea about Volkswagen Euro Van

If you don't find them, please speak to the seller. Get help from a witness. Check the chassis number and engine number. Check the history of the vehicle. You can test drive the car and ascertain its performance. If you want to buy the vehicle from a dealer, the price will be prohibitively high. But, the dealer will inform you about the problems in the car. The dealer will include the latest MOT or roadway certificate. Some dealers will agree for a three months warranty certificate. You have to check the engines, body work, chassis, brakes... Check for irritating sounds when the engine is running. Check oil leaks, cam belt, radiator, blow head gasket, steam and smoke. Last but not the least, do inspect if hoses/pipes are neatly maintained. Check the roof, wheel arches, edges of the floor and each door carefully. Inspect underneath the car, wheel arches, and front and rear box sections. There should not be oil leakage from the gear box. Inspect if the CV joints are intact.
The Vanagon Weekender models were introduced in 1983. They are rear-engine and rear-drive vans. Vehicles which were marketed between 1983 and 1991feature a four speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission with an electronic ignition, dynamic oil pressure system besides a thermostatically-controlled two speed electric radiator fan. A good number of them have power windows, rear-blowing air-conditioning, electronic locks, cruise control, cassette stereo, rear wiper or washer and power mirrors. They seat seven persons. The Vanagon full camper has a forward-facing centre bench which can be converted into a bed for three persons and two rear facing seats. By removing these seats, more cargo space can be created. A pop-up roof with two person bed, window curtains, an optional second deep-cycle marine battery and a lot more amenities. Most stick ships appeared in four speed versions. In 1986, a five speed model was introduced by Volkswagen.
VW Vanagon has four speed manual transmission, rear wheel drive, electrical ignition, oil pressure system, electronic fuel injection, power steering and brakes, fuel tank capacity, chrome hub caps and LP gas and carbon, monoxide detectors. Safety features are 3 point belts for front seat; side impact beams in front doors and sliding side door, height adjustable head restraint for every person. Storage tanks have 15.9 gallon gasoline tanks.
Full camper vans have many facilities viz. stainless steel sink, LP gas refrigerator, front seats, 110 volt access when plugged into campground power, room darkening, pleated curtains, pop-up roofs, storage area, silverware drawer, cabinet space, air-conditioner, rear mattress, top loading storage chests, sink, stove, fridge. By free camping and by staying in camp sites, your accommodation costs can be minimized to a significant extent. In certain places, free camping is encouraged. Free camping will be pretty enjoyable and funny in beautiful and safe locations.
