I've Never Bought Anything This BIG Online Before! Is It OK?
We know there's a lot of old school folks out there that are hesitant about buying online, but that's how it's done nowadays. The fact that you found us means you have a computer. Remember when you first got that new fangled contraption? (I do, and eventually found out you can't fix it by slapping it on the side or the top like an old television). Buying vehicles online is the best way to go. You see a better selection and better pricing. Please check out all the information we have gathered up for you.

Why Buy A Used RV Versus A New RV?
It is a fact that a new motor home often experiences the greatest amount of depreciation in RV price within the first few years of ownership. This means that the vehicle is often worth less than the amount still owed on the financing. A used RV purchase from Camper Heaven has already experienced this dramatic depreciation during its lifetime. A used RV often will hold its relative motorhome value better than most other RV's in the market, especially a new one.

Should I be Concerned About Buying An Older Vehicle?
No worries, all mechanical parts for the Eurovans are still available, and will be for a long time. You will also notice that we carry mostly very low mileage Campers. Most of our customers purchase the warranty for peace of mind. Along with that and the fact that most people will only drive their recreational vehicle about 7000 miles a year (like driving coast to coast and back), and the durability of the German engineering behind the VW powertrain and the eggs are all in YOUR basket.

Why Should I Buy From Pop Top Heaven?

-
How Long Will It Take To Have My Camper Reconditioned?
We don't make it until you buy it. We do this because we have no idea what options a customer may want. Awning? Bilstein Shocks? Solar Panel? Baja Package? The delivery date depends entirely on the number of vehicles ahead of yours in the queue. It can be as short as 3 months, or as long as 9 months. With the global pandemic, all our delivery times are greatly delayed.

Is It Hard To Get A VW™ Dealer To Work On A Camper?
Heck no...Well, sometimes. The Eurovan Conversions were sold by only a handful of Volkswagen dealers, but because they're built on the Eurovan chassis, at heart they're a VW™ . Only the Rialta version requires a larger bay in a shop to be worked on, and some VW dealers are just not set up be able to service them. That being said, many VW dealers still do, but we recommend finding a good local mechanic that can get to know your rig and take good care of it. See a comprehensive list of mechanics who work on the Eurovan models, along with customer reviews at Roadhaus.com

-
Are There Any Diesel Eurovan Conversions?
There are no diesel Eurovan conversions. If you see one in the USA, it's been converted, and may not be legal to register in your state.
-
What Are The Available Engine Sizes?
We carry Eurovan Full Camper and Weekender model years 1997 to 2003 when Winnebago and Westfalia stopped production. We carry 1997-2005 versions of the Eurovan Rialta. We do not carry models earlier than 1997 due to their low HP engines.

2.8 VR6
2,792 cc
138 HP @ 4,500 RPM
2001-2003 for the Eurovan Full Camper and Weekender, and 2003-2005 Rialta models

201 HP @ 6,200 RPM
-
How Long Do the Engines Last?
We've only had to replace one engine in our history. As for how long they last, that's a tricky question. We've seen Rialtas with over 200K miles, still going strong. The general consensus is around 300K miles.
-
Do You Finance?
No, but we work with a few finance companies. We've found it difficult to find finance companies that will work with us since we sell vehicles in all 50 states. Click the Financing link under How to Buy in the menu above.
-
Do You Sell Vehicles With Accidents?
Sometimes, but never with serious accidents reported on their AutoCheck vehicle history, and this report is ALWAYS available to you prior to purchase. We NEVER sell vehicles with salvaged titles.
-
Do Your Campers Qualify As RVs For Financing?

-
Which Eurovan Conversion Is The Longest?
All Rialtas are 21'8" long, the Weekenders are 16' long, and the Full Campers are 17' long.
-
Why Did Winnebago Stop The Eurovan Conversions?
VW™ stopped importing the chassis in 2003. Winnebago continued converting chassis into Rialtas until they ran out in 2005. Production of the Weekender and Full Camper stopped in 2003.
-
Why Are There No Good KBB Or NADA Values?
Nada and KBB are based on a computer formula, and do not take into account consumer demand, the uniqueness of these vehicles, and in most cases, the significant cost associated with the camper conversion. Due to complaints about this, NADA and KBB have actually removed most Eurovan conversions from their books.
-
Can I Run the Rialta's Overhead A/C and Generator While Driving?
Surprisingly...the answer is yes, you can. I know it sounds strange, but we've confirmed this with several RV specialists.
-
How Is My Camper Shipped?
USPS Express Mail box. Overnight to most US locations :) Actually, the Campers are shipped on transport trucks.

All the tea.
-
Does The Rialta Have A Generator?
Yes, all the Rialtas have a generator.
-
Can I Hook The Grey Water Up At An RV Site?
Yes. The Rialtas are equipped with separate releases for black and grey water, and the Full Camper has a single water release. If the camping site is equipped with a connection, you may connect your grey water directly to the dump, and simply open the valve.
-
Where Are The Camper Prices?
We don't list prices on the site because in the past, other dealers who didn't specialize in Eurovan Conversions, and happened to pick one up as a trade-in, were taking our pricing, and assuming we were a 'wash and flip' shop (like most dealers), used our pricing and marked up their Campers to astronomical prices. This is our way of keeping all Eurovan Conversion prices at every dealership reasonable. Just click the Contact Us link under Questions in the menu above, and we'll send you a list of current and incoming inventory with pricing.
-

We have more comprehensive service contracts available for longer coverage periods on 2001-2005 models at additional cost.

-
Do you install awnings?
Yes, but we must give priority to vehicles we're currently reconditioning. Please call for an appointment.

Yes. Since many of the Campers we recondition have custom items added, we can't begin until we receive full payment.
-
Can I buy a Camper, and drive it home the same day?
No. Currently, the wait time for picking up a Camper is 17-20 weeks. This varies throughout the year, and is based solely on demand.
-

-
Why won't my Camper start, and why is my steering wheel locked?
The Full Camper and Rialta models require the seats be facing forward. If your steering wheel is locked, move it back and forth while gently turning the key. The steering wheel lock feature is by design. If you don't relieve the pressure on the steering wheel, the key will not turn.
-
Some of the pictures at the top of your website show right hand steering. Is this available?
Nope. We had to reverse the image to make the part of the image with the Camper fit on mobile devices. Yay PhotoShop!

How Much Wood Would A Woodchuck Chuck?
New York state wildlife expert Richard Thomas found that a woodchuck chucks about 35 cubic feet of dirt in the course of digging a burrow. Thomas reasoned that if a woodchuck could chuck wood, he would chuck an amount equivalent to the weight of the dirt, or 700 pounds. We hope you are pleased to know this.

Is My Camper A Tax Deduction?
For the vast majority of RV buyers, the interest on their loan is deductible as second home mortgage interest. To qualify, interest expense deductions on the RV must exceed the taxpayer's standard deduction. In addition, the RV must:
1.Be used as security for the loan.
2.Be rented out less than 15 days per year.
3.Have basic sleeping, toilet, and cooking facilities.
Believe it or not, a port-a-potty qualifies as a toilet, so no worries there. Also, almost all RV types-motorhomes, van campers, travel trailers, truck campers and even some folding camping trailers-qualify under these conditions. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) publishes two booklets with helpful information regarding the tax deductibility of RV loan interest. "Publication 936-Home Interest Deduction" and "Publication 523-Selling Your Home" are available by calling the IRS at 1-800-829-3676.
-
May I See Photos Of A Specific Camper You Have For Sale?
Yes. We don't post pictures of the Campers before they're reconditioned. Why? First, the photos don't represent the finished product. Second, they all look pretty much the same, especially the Full Campers. We post photos of other vehicles we sell because their looks vary quite a bit. We will provide you with photos of any vehicle you like, just let us know.
-
Where Can I Get A Replacement Key Fob?
You can't because they're no longer made. BUT...the Eurovan remotes share the same frequency as a Golf or Jetta. So you can purchase a key fob for one of these models, and have it programmed to work with a Eurovan. The only difference is that the truck or panic buttons will not function.
-
Can The Interior Components Of A Rialta Be Rearranged?
Yes, but it would cost a small fortune. Depending on the unit, wiring, propane lines, exterior vents, heater, pumps, etc. would need to be moved. Some items can be removed (we’ve had people remove the seats that turn into a bed behind the driver’s and passenger’s seats in the QD models to give them more room in the front of the vehicle, etc.). It would cost far more than just finding the floorplan you like.
-
Why does my rear floor vent behind the passenger seat only blow hot?
This is by design. Since Winnebago and Westfalia removed the top of the vehicle, there's nowhere to run vents. The switches on the dash only set it from room temperature to hot. Even with it shut off, there will still be some bleed through of air when driving.

What Kind of Taxes do I Have to Pay?
You are always welcome to visit our office and view any vehicle here, however, if you sign a contract to purchase a vehicle, submit payment for a vehicle, or take delivery of a vehicle in person at our Yucaipa California office, you will be subject to California state sales tax (currently 7.75%). You will receive a credit for taxes paid when you register your vehicle in your home state. If you do not want to pay California state sales tax, we can arrange for transport across the California border, where you may take possession of your vehicle. Remember, we can easily arrange to dispatch your vehicle for transport to a licensed and insured transporter to all lower 48 states and Alaska, border entries for Canada, or to a port for delivery to Hawaii.
