We just put this page up, so there's not much here yet :) These are some common questions we get about the Full Campers, Weekenders, and Rialtas. We're adding to this all the time, so check back. Click

Why won't my Full Camper start?
Are both front seats facing forward? If the seats are turned, the Camper will not start.
-
What is the alarm sound when I start my Rialta?
Make sure both seats are facing forward. Unike the Full Camper, the Rialta will start with the seats turned, but an alarm will sound.
-
Why won't my refrigerator start on Propane?
Is the Camper level? Is the propane turned on at the tank outside the Camper?
-
Vehicle starts but shuts off quickly after
Try a different key. It must have the correct chip in the key that communicates with the ignition, otherwise it shuts off as an anti-theft mechanism.

Beeping noise emanating from the rear of my Camper/Rialta
Your coach battery may be low. The LP Monitor will start to beep to notify you that it no longer has enough power to properly do its job. Drive the vehicle or plug it in to shoreline power (or run the generator if applicable).
-
An ear-piercing noise is coming from somewhere inside the coach (Camper or Rialta)
This is most likely your LP Leak Detector. It will sound unmistakably if it detects an unsafe amount of LP in the coach. Immediately turn off the propane and reference section 1-3 in your manual (Rialta) 2-4 (Eurovan Camper) . This alarm can also detect aerosols which can set off a false alarm. Treat all alarms with caution!

My Norcold Refrigerator is not cooling on battery (12V) Mode
Battery mode is for maintaining temperature after the refrigerator has already been cooled by propane or 110V (Shoreline power)
-
My refrigerator is draining my battery fast
The battery mode is only for use while driving. You will need to switch to a different Mode if you will be parked for more than 30 minutes. See Camper manual 5-3 and Rialta Manual 8-1.
-
My Camper's Driver chair will not rotate
The seat rotates counter-clockwise only. They require a bit of manipulating back and forth to completely rotate since you are moving around the steering wheel and door column.
-
My check engine light came on after I filled the gas tank.
You will need to tighten the gas cap after each filling. Be sure to also use Premium fuel for best results
-
None of the electrical components inside of my Rialta are working
Please inspect your outside rear storage space and make sure your shoreline power is plugged into the wall (generator receptacle). See Rialta manual section 6-5
-
My Fresh Water Tank will not fill with water (Rialta or Camper)
Be sure that the drain valve is closed. Please note, the City Water connection will not fill your fresh water tank. Reference section 7-3 of your Rialta manual or 4-2 in the Camper Manual.

I just emptied my holding tanks and it still registers as partially full
Particulates or paper matter may be affixed to the level sensor. If this is still an issue, and you know for a fact it's empty, pour some hot soapy water down the toilet and drive the rig around to help sloush that hot soapy goodness around. It should clean off the sensor and read properly after this concoction has also been drained.
-
My Weekender cooler box is not working
Make sure that the switch is on (located on the back of the cooler) the cord is plugged into the outlet under the driver's seat, and that the fuse is still good. They do not get very cold since they're only 12V. You should probably just buy an Engel Refrigerator from us :)
-
My Camper/Weekender rear hatch will not open even if it's "unlocked"
There is a rear hatch lock override, use the key to physically unlock the rear hatch. Vertical is the override position, horizontal is synced with the electric locks.
-
Check Engine Light is on, code is "Lean"
Knocking, check engine lights, poor performance, and poor fuel economy are all side effects of using low grade gasoline. VW recommends 91 Octane or better when possible.
-
All of the gear indicators on my dash are selected at the same time
Your Transmission Range Sensor is likely bad.
